Do you remember when you were a child? The freedom you felt with no responsibilities, not having any to do lists and never having to worry about not having any to do lists. When we were just simple minded yet overly enthusiastic innocent little children. Do you remember all those times you got excited over the simplest things in life such as a song, a toy, a glorious idea.
I remember having the biggest imagination, life was always magical. I also remember having unlimited belief in myself to be or do whatever I wanted. Why stop now?
Children can do and say the strangest things and are absolute little treasures. We were ALL once one of them and they are still within us waiting for us to give them the same love, creativity and attention. We can go back to those enthusiastic and imaginative feelings if we want to. In fact we should always keep these childlike traits within us alive always.
We should always go back to this place in our lives and view our responsibilities and tasks in a childlike point of view. Allow your inner child to come out and play. Going back to a way of thinking, feeling and simply being without the ego mind.
The inner child never leaves us, they are always just there with beaming enthusiasm trying to crawl back out. It is indeed a beautifully adventurous little thing to get back in touch with, especially in moments that may feel typically stressful as an adult.
